Grafiksamlingen
Holds approximately 4,000 individual sheets and is permanently located at the Art Center. The collection consists of works that the photographers Thomas Pedersens (1900-75) and the next generation Poul Pedersen (1928-2019) and his wife Dorte collected over many years. Both have been aware that graphics are a broad field of drawing, etching, various types of printing and mixed media.

Graphics from the 1830s-1990s
The collection contains a large amount of Danish original material from around 1830 until the mid-1990s. It therefore also represents many Danish artists who are still active. In addition, there is a limited amount of foreign study material in the collection, mainly reproductions.

200 artists among the more than 200 artists represented are: J.Th. Lundbye, Niels Skovgaard, Søren Hjorth Nielsen, Cilius Andersen, Aksel Jørgensen, Jane Muus, Anna Klindt Sørensen, Thomas Arnel, Jørgen Brask, John Sparre Christensen, Svend Wiig Hansen, Gugge Hammerskov, Allan Schmidt, Valdemar Foersom Hegndal, Erik Heide, Martinus Hougaard, Per Neble, Lene Adler Petersen, Jørgen Thorsted and Teddy Sørensen.

Both regular guests and those with special interests can access the collection. A ring-bound register is always available and serves as an index to the collection. The original graphics themselves are in locked cabinets. If you want to see original graphics, individuals can make an appointment with the Art Center by telephone to visit the collection prior to the visit. If you want to work independently, you can order certain artist folders to be taken out before a visit, so that they are ready when you arrive.

Groups and schools can book an introduction to the graphic art collection. An introduction lasts approximately 1 hour. The emphasis can be on specific artists, a specific form of expression or other things by arrangement.
